What do you currently use PacketFabric for?
We had already been using PacketFabric’s high performance Internet for both internal use and to support the services we provide, but recently we have noticed an increase in our bandwidth needs due to company-use of various Internet applications, starting with web conferencing and PBX cloud services.
As remote work becomes more widespread, network flexibility and stable access to cloud systems are essential, so we are currently strengthening our network infrastructure.
Tell us about your reasons for adding redundancy to your Internet circuits
Our main business is the outsourcing of employee benefits, and we seek high standards for the network that supports the most critical component of our business, the management and practical use of customer data.
Network redundancy is essential in order to achieve this goal, and we have been using PacketFabric’s redundancy services for many years. Our Internet service automatically switches to a backup circuit in case there is maintenance on a network device or in rare cases an outage, which gives us highly reliable service operation.
Give us your impressions of PacketFabric’s Internet circuits
Overall, there have been no major problems, and we have been provided with an excellent communication environment thanks to PacketFabric's forte, MIRO technology, which chooses the optimal communication path on the Internet from multiple upstream backbones, and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Their flexibility to respond to traffic spikes or network device failovers has allowed our business to operate smoothly.
How have PacketFabric Internet circuits benefited your company?
The ability to establish a network environment with circuit redundancy improves the stability of our services. In particular, stable communications are guaranteed even during times of high network usage such as our transition to cloud systems or the expansion of remote work. PacketFabric’s high reliability helps to sustain our business continuity, as our business operations would come to a halt without network communications.
Where do you see the difference in PacketFabric specialized for business?
Including the dedicated sales representatives and engineer personnel, the PacketFabric team takes flexible and prompt action.
DNS configuration changes and so on, which would take several days for other companies to complete, are handled in just a few days by the 24-hour network operation center, whose prompt handling is extremely helpful. Furthermore, we value greatly their meticulous support not offered by other companies regarding security-related configuration changes and traffic flow analysis.

What are the prospects of your network in the future?
From now on, we too will continue to strengthen cloud-based system operations and aim to implement zero trust security. At the same time, we will optimize the network environment at each location, including call centers and offices.
Lastly, by introducing cloud PBX, telephone-based operations came to be completely dependent on the network, and network quality is becoming ever more important.
