Tax Free Network Solutions for Embassies

Realizing “Internationalism beyond languages” and “Tax Exemption for Foreign Diplomatic Missions”.

Internap Japan has been licensed to provide tax-free services to foreign embassies and other diplomatic missions by the National Tax Agency.

Embassies, legations, consulates and other foreign missions in Japan (Note 1) who use our services will now be exempt from consumption tax.

By providing tax exemption we can provide not only foreign businesses, but also foreign diplomatic missions with greater access to our bandwidth guaranteed ultra-low latency Internet connectivity services and other high-quality network solutions.

Our corporate goal “Internationalism beyond languages” goes beyond learning English. We also carry out in-house training designed for English speakers from different cultural backgrounds.  Combining our cultural awareness and our new status as a provider of tax exemption, we will continue to provide foreign embassies and other overseas institutions a truely global standard service.

Tax exemption is restricted to certified foreign diplomatic missions located in Japan as stipulated in Article 36 Section 2 Paragraph 1 of the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation “Certification of Foreign Diplomatic Institutions” issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan.
